A Word from the Creator/Author:  Auntie Maddy is a figurative wise auntie who’s always looking out for me. She is part of my inner voice and, similar to the concept of taking care of your inner child, Auntie Maddy takes care of current me and future me when it comes to spending money. She speaks loudest to me just before my wallet comes out or a button is pushed. Over the years, my clumsy and often maddening experiences of learning better ways to manage and spend money have transformed into a wise, humorous, and mindful voice I enjoy internally and have shared with others. This blog brings more life to Auntie Maddy, with the hope that others find value in what is shared. The intention is to build a community that flows through our collective Auntie Maddy. This happens by sharing our experiences, spirit fillers, travels, tips, tricks, and value finds as we fill our lives with experiential abundance and not just stuff.
